Terms of Use
Terms governing use of the Utility Ridge website and consulting engagements.
Acceptance
By accessing utilityridge.click or engaging Utility Ridge for consulting services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site or commission work.
Services described
Pages describing consultations, rates, and processes are informational. A binding engagement exists only when both parties confirm scope and fees in writing (email is sufficient).
Intellectual property
Site content — text, visual design, and original diagrams we publish — belongs to Utility Ridge or its licensors. You may not copy substantial portions for commercial reuse without permission. Findings reports delivered under an engagement are licensed to the client for internal use; redistribution to the public requires our written consent unless the engagement letter states otherwise.
Client materials
Documents, repositories, and diagrams you share for a review remain yours. We use them solely to perform the engagement and retain copies only as needed for quality, dispute, or legal obligations, then delete or return them on request where feasible.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt service, scrape in a way that degrades performance, submit malicious content through forms, or impersonate others when contacting us.
Disclaimer
Architecture reviews and advisory opinions reflect professional judgment based on information available during the engagement. They are not a warranty of system behavior, security certification, or regulatory compliance. Your team remains responsible for implementation and operational decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Taiwan, Utility Ridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from site use or from reliance on advisory findings. Our aggregate liability related to a paid engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts in Taipei shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or related engagements, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for site use; active engagements follow the terms referenced in their engagement notes unless otherwise agreed.
